WHAT WE TREAT
Pediatric speech therapy services in Henderson and Las Vegas
Speech therapy helps children find their voice, whether that means saying their first words, being understood, eating a wider range of foods, or connecting with the people around them. We provide individualized, evidence-based care across every area of communication and feeding.
What is speech therapy?
Speech-language therapy is the evaluation and treatment of communication and feeding differences by a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP). It is far more than "fixing sounds." An SLP supports how a child understands language, expresses thoughts, produces speech clearly, uses their voice, interacts socially, and safely eats and drinks. Care begins with a comprehensive evaluation, followed by an individualized treatment plan built around your child's specific goals and strengths, with close collaboration with your family every step of the way.
The areas we treat
Speech and Articulation
Helping children produce sounds clearly and accurately so they can be understood by family, teachers, and friends, reducing the frustration of not being understood.
Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Specialized, motor-based support for children who know what they want to say but struggle to plan and sequence the movements to say it.
Voice
Support for hoarseness, vocal strain, and other differences in how a child's voice sounds or works.
Language
Building both understanding (receptive) and use (expressive) of words, sentences, and ideas, from first words to following directions and telling stories.
Fluency and Stuttering
Strategies, tools, and confidence for children who repeat, prolong, or get stuck on sounds and words, so speaking feels easier.
AAC (Augmentative and
Alternative Communication)
Giving children who have little or no verbal speech reliable ways to communicate, from picture systems to speech-generating devices.
Social Communication
Supporting conversation, play, perspective-taking, and connecting with peers, including for autistic children.
Feeding and Swallowing
Help with picky eating, chewing, oral-motor skills, and safe swallowing so mealtimes feel calmer for the whole family.
Early Intervention and Autism Support
The earliest support for babies and toddlers showing communication delays, and communication and social support for autistic children.
